Job Description

We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our business starting March 2025. This fixed term role is an opportunity to be part of a positive and ambitious team of four. Having successfully introduced our new HR system at the end of last year, the role will be a blend of operations and administration, with a greater emphasis on operational support especially resourcing. We are looking for someone who is highly organised, with strong attention to detail, who enjoys working with and supporting a team. Ideally CIPD qualified.

This is a part time role of 27 hours per week. This is currently over 3 days but there could be some flexibility.


JOB PURPOSE & CONTRIBUTION TO THE ORGANISATION

Manage HR operations effectively. Implement our people strategy to support the overall strategy of the business.

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES (Specific accountabilities for the role)

  • Understand the resourcing needs of our business and support recruitment activities proactively.
  • Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process so our new employees are welcomed and have the essential knowledge of the business.
  • Manage and administer special leave arrangements, including maternity, paternity, parental and other family related leave.
  • Ensure HR administration is completed accurately, in a timely manner and communicated to relevant individuals appropriately.
  • Maintain records and act in accordance with data protection regulations.
  • Analyse data and make suggestions and improvements that will support our business.
  • Work proactively with line managers, coaching and supporting them to deliver people solutions.
  • Support line managers in handling employee matters ensuring legal compliance and that we operate within our own procedures. Note any trends or issues and escalate as needed.
  • Provide timely information to our bid teams to support bid submissions.
  • Work closely with our People and Talent Director on projects that will deliver our strategy and embed our guiding principles in all we do.
