Job Description
-Ango American is seeking a HR Officer to be at the forefront of delivering top tier, customer-centric HR services. This role offers you the chance to make a significant impact, managing everything from onboarding and offboarding to data management and employee lifecycle activities. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for excellence, you’ll ensure accuracy in daily operations, monitor workloads, and tackle escalated issues to keep our HR services running smoothly. Core Responsibilities (amongst others):

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HR queries, effectively triaging and directing queries to the appropriate HR personnel.
  • Manage benefits administration, including maintaining relationships with account managers, overseeing utilisation reporting, handling contract renewals, addressing employee queries etc.
  • Act as the main liaison for employees on maternity leave, sick leave, and other absences.
  • Provide initial contact and support to employees and line managers regarding HR-related queries, benefits, policies, and procedures.
  • Support core HR processes by administering and maintaining SAP SuccessFactors, as well as conducting SAP SuccessFactors testing.
  • Perform monthly payroll checks for new hires and execute necessary data changes.
  • Generate and deliver HR reports, including headcount, joiners, leavers, and other relevant metrics.
  • Assist HR teams (e.g. HR Principals, HR Business Partners, Advisors, Generalists) by advising employees and line managers on core HR processes, policies, procedures, inductions, query management, parental leave, flexible working applications, benefits, learning, and other initiatives within the Corporate North offices.

Qualifications

  • -Working experience in a HR generalist / Coordinator capacity
  • University degree in a relevant field would be an advantage (not essential)
  • Experience in managing senior stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
