HVAC Engineers (Nights) – London Underground

Location: Various London Underground Stations
Contract Duration: 4 Years
Shift Pattern: 4 nights on, 4 nights off (12-hour shifts)
Salary: £51,410 PAYE per annum + overtime pay
Benefits: Van, fuel card, pension, holiday entitlement

About the Role

We are seeking skilled HVAC Engineers to join our team, ensuring the smooth operation of HVAC systems across London Underground stations during night shifts. This position is ideal for experienced breakdown engineers with expertise in reactive maintenance and repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform reactive maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, including split systems, water chillers, AHUs, VRV/VRF, and other mechanical plant.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults, ensuring systems operate efficiently.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Accurately document completed work and materials used.
• Collaborate with colleagues for smooth and effective operations.

Requirements

• Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration or Air Conditioning, FGAS Certification.
• Experience: Proven background in HVAC maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs.
• Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Preferred: Experience working on London Underground stations (not essential).
• Certification: LU-ICI on Sentinel Card (training can be arranged if not currently held).
• License: Clean UK driver’s license.
• Willingness to work night shifts on a 4-on, 4-off pattern.
