IT Support Analyst

Join a dynamic and innovative team at Micropress Printers Limited as an IT Support Analyst. This position will place you at the heart of our IT department, supporting all business units delivering crucial IT services.

Job Overview:

As an experienced IT Support, you’ll be an integral part of our IT team, providing first and second line help desk support, handling routine networking tasks, and ensuring that IT services remain consistent and well-maintained across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

· Install, maintain, and upgrade IT equipment throughout the company.

· Provide general support and training to colleagues, ensuring high-quality service delivery.

· Efficiently monitor, support, and manage a help desk ticketing system.

· Manage user accounts, creating and removing them as needed in accordance with company policies.

· Maintain accurate records of IT assets, ensuring correct allocation and documentation.

· Monitor data backups to ensure reliability.

· Assist with additional IT tasks, including automation and robotics-related work, as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

· Experienced working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Office applications.

· Positive and flexible attitude, with a strong customer service focus.

· Excellent interpersonal skills, punctuality, and self-motivation.

Preferred Experience:

· Familiarity with iOS and Linux.

· Understanding of IP networking and troubleshooting.

Our client is a leading player in their industry with several branches spread across the UK. They are renowned for utilising the latest technological advancements to deliver high-quality solutions to their customers.

They’re looking for a contract IT Support Analyst to start ASAP. 5 days a week on-site and paying around £200 per day (inside IR35 / PAYE).

Job Description

  • Experience of providing 2nd level IT support in a fast paced working environment
  • Excellent knowledge of MS O365
  • Experience of supporting MS Azure, Active Directory etc.
  • Hardware build and deployment (Laptops, PC’s etc.)
  • Have ownership of any escalated issues till successful resolution
  • precious experience working in an ITIL environment

The Successful Applicant

A successful IT Support Analyst should have:

  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proficient in various IT systems and networks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong knowledge of the Transport & Distribution industry.
