IT Support Assistant


The role:




The role is to assist in the day to day running of the IT systems within the company.

The role will be based predominantly at our warehouse in Hazel Grove, with a possibility of travel to other sites in Stockport & Macclesfield, we therefore need you to have a full driving licence and your own car.

The successful candidate must have experience in a Level 1 support role.

The shift pattern is: Sunday to Thursday | 6:00am – 2:30pm


Main duties will include:

  • Hardware maintenance
  • Software installation & maintenance
  • System monitoring


Other duties will include

  • Daily operational checks on PCs, Servers, etc.
  • Security & Data compliance checks
  • Maintaining OS Updates
  • Wi-FI & Wired networking installation & maintenance
  • In house & 3rd party software support
  • Kiosk device support
  • Liaising with 3rd party suppliers for support purposes
