Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all costs related to building projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on time, while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for various projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies to assess the viability of projects.
• Monitor project expenses and implement cost control measures to ensure financial efficiency.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate cost assessments.
• Prepare tender documents, contracts, and agreements.
• Conduct site visits to assess progress and quality of work.
• Provide advice on procurement strategies and contract management.
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions related to projects.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to provide updates on project costs and timelines.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in cost control techniques and software applications.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism and integrity.

Pay: From £35,000.00 per year
