Position Description

As Airedale by Modine rides the wave of the digital revolution, we’re scaling up across the world to support an ever-growing demand for our solutions. Be the KAM of our entire client-support ecosystem for our key global data centre accounts to maximize revenue and client success. The Key Account Manager (“KAM”) has to assure that all activities for the concerned customer are well communicated and coordinated globally, and to be aligned with the Modine strategy and the overall global targets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Understand customer processes (e.g., sourcing process)
  • Handle all RFQs and lead/support approval of early phase gate process for all RFQ’s as appropriate
  • Coordinate expectations and requirements for all customer quotes and commercial activities
  • Apply commercial criteria consistently on a global basis (e.g. price downs, materials, cost breakdowns, etc.)
  • Be the “advisor” for all customer quotes for market pricing in an effort to achieve and maintain expected profitability levels with existing and new business
  • Distribute customer relevant information (e.g., organizational or process changes) to all involved Modine people globally
  • Be highly involved in development and communication of Commercial Contracts (e.g., Long Term Agreements)
  • Assist in managing Modine warranty conditions to limit risk
  • Create and maintain Customer Development Plan (CDP) to align with Modine’s business objectives
  • Review and communicate CDP to team and senior management on a regular cadence to manage to the objectives
  • Promote Airedale product and expertise with the global customer
  • Support Sales Planning and other Strategy Setting Processes
  • Coordinate customer related program information during the sales plan creation and presentation (i.e., the right program is in the right sales plan)
  • Provide customer input for 5 Year plan, LRTS, GPS and other strategic activities


Required Education & Qualifications

  • Technical Degree preferred
  • Highest level of experience and knowledge of the customer globally
  • Understanding of different needs and cultures in all regions for the customer and Modine
  • Strong ability to communicate and lead a global team
  • Significant product and market knowledge of global customer
  • Minimum of five (5) years sales experience in business / industry
  • Consistently demonstrate the Modine leadership behaviours
  • Self-motivated and highly confident
  • Strong degree of trust and communication skills to effectively serve as “Voice of the Customer” within Modine

The Role

Establishing strong relationships with platform partners’, marketing teams and internal stakeholders (eg channel planning team, brand/IP GM’s, marcom, L&M and operation) to develop and implement data-driven marketing strategies for Moonbug Linear Channel’s and VOD success across EMEA, APAC and Americas.


Responsibilities

  • Work closely with platform partners’ teams to monitor Moonbug Linear Channel’s and VOD titles’ performance through regular meetings to identify marketing and partnership opportunities to build and maintain relationships with these key clients.
  • Plan or adapt efficient marketing campaigns for Moonbug Linear Channel and for key VOD clients by ensuring consistency across Moonbug Marcom and brand/IP GM’s communication strategies.
  • Build and distribute seasonal and tent pole asset packs to be shared on a regular basis with key platform partners in a timely manner
  • Build quarterly marketing and communication plans for the Moonbug Linear Channel and key IPs, communicate with platform partners’ teams and measure success on a regular basis.
  • Marketing support for industry conferences and events i.e. MIPCOM, Kidscreen, APOS. Respond and adapt quickly to changes in the industry or market priorities.

Requirements

    • A university degree in business, media, marketing, communications, or a related discipline
    • At least 3 years of experience in broadcast media marketing, preferably with a focus on kids linear channel and/or content.
    • Deep understanding of data centric marketing strategy development, establishing and meeting KPIs and storytelling through data.
    • Strong analytical and technical skills, with a creative mindset
    • Ability to create quarterly roadmaps and deliver upon them
    • Proven ability to manage and influence wide and disparate stakeholder groups, to build relationships and to collaborate with them in order to deliver customer value and business strategy
    • Interest in kids and broadcast media

Tasks

  • Build, keep and maintain client relationships;

The role
