This role is a key role within Sales
Main duties of the position
The purpose of this key role is to be the focal point for all Kirintec Business Winning activity relating to UK Government Departments, primarily focused on UK MOD. The successful candidate will own and deliver a pipeline of opportunities in line with business targets. They will also co-ordinate Kirintec stakeholder engagement across UK Government.
Reporting Line
This role reports to the Sales Director
2.2 Key Responsibilities
· Act as the focal point for all Kirintec Sales and Business Development activity across UK Government Departments, with focus on UK MOD, FCDO and Home Office including connecting to 5Eye partners.
· Identify, qualify, pursue, and capture opportunities to meet business objectives ensuring the planning for and successful execution of bids with the appropriate assistance from key resources within Kirintec
· Maintain and grow the Sales Pipeline, leading any sales/bid activity to secure opportunities in line with business targets.
· Maintain a stakeholder engagement plan to ensure visibility of new customer requirements, policy, and to promote Kirintec capability
Essential Skills
· Track record of winning business with UK Government Customers
· Understanding of UK MOD Contracting and Approvals processes
· Familiar with RF technology and its employment in operational environments.
· Able to translate user needs into requirements.
· Commerically astute and able to lead negotiations
Essential Software Packages
· Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook
· Microsoft Project/Visio
Desirable Skills
· Active network across DE&S, MOD Main Building, STRATCOM and the Single Services, from desk level to 2-3* level
· Experience of operating within or doing business with the JES and JSENS Project Teams
· Familiar with Business Winning best practice and bid/proposal writing.
Desirable Software Packages
· Sage 50
Employment Terms
· Kirintec currently employ a 5-day working week. The main working location will be Kirintec offices in Ross on Wye.
