About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Licensed Conveyancer to join our team in Blackburn. You must have CLC qualification or equivalent. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with at least 12 months of conveyancing experience who can manage a diverse caseload independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Caseload Management: Oversee a variety of transactions, including freehold, leasehold, newbuild, and shared ownership cases, from instruction to completion.
- Process Oversight: Manage sales, purchases, transfers, and remortgages while liaising with brokers, estate agents, solicitors, and clients.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and third parties, providing regular updates and ensuring a smooth experience.
- Documentation: Prepare and issue contracts, address enquiries, and analyse search results with precision and efficiency.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Recognise and address potential risks, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain meticulous records and ensure all files meet SLAs, regulatory standards, and internal policies.
Skills and Experience
- Essential Qualifications:
- Licensed Conveyancer or Solicitor with at least 12 months’ experience. (Must have CLC qualifications or equivalent).
- Expertise in residential and commercial property transactions, including freehold and leasehold cases (registered and unregistered).
- Proven ability to handle cases independently, from initial instruction to post-completion.
- Key Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of the conveyancing process and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
