About us :
Marchand Petit is looking to recruit a Lettings Business Development Manager in our Kingsbridge office.

We are the South Hams leading independent property consultancy, with residential sales branches in Salcombe, Modbury, Newton Ferrers, Totnes, Kingsbridge and Dartmouth. Our services also include a New Homes, Prime Waterfront and Country House , and Auction departments to maximize our support to our clients. We also produce our own AT Home magazine publication to help you understand the lifestyle opportunities locally, enabling you settle in better in your new home.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced lettings candidate to help grow our Lettings business. This is an excellent opportunity to join our established team, letting homes in the Kingsbridge, Totnes and Dartmouth areas. We take pride in offering the best service to landlords and tenants, and we’re seeking a team member who shares our commitment to excellence. We’re looking for someone ambitious, self-motivated, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and winning new business.

Responsibilities:

• Secure new business and grow our lettings portfolio.
• Generate valuations/prospecting
• Carry our lettings appraisals
• Convert valuation opportunities to instructions
• Manage day-to-day tenant interactions, including generating viewings and securing property lets.
• Obtain instructions on properties meeting quality standards and quantity targets.
• Maintain accurate records on our internal database.
• Handle enquiries from various channels professionally.
• Conduct viewings with prospective tenants and follow up on feedback.

Requirements:

• Experienced at listings’ valuation and instructions and driving new business.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Highly driven, proactive and enthusiastic, with a proven ability to build strong professional relationships with tenants and landlords.
• Proven track record in closing deals.
• ARLA qualified (preferred but training can be provided)
• Knowledge of Totnes/ Kingsbridge/PL8/PL9 and the South Hams letting market is advantageous, along with an up-to-date understanding of market trends, local property values, and competition

Pay: £30,000.00 per year
