*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 3 Practitioner to join our team in Newport. This full-time position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in early childhood education and childcare. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children, ensuring their safety and well-being while fostering their development through engaging activities. *Duties* – Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive environment. – Manage daily nursery operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. – Lead and supervise a team of practitioners, providing guidance and support as needed. – Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. – Observe and assess children’s progress, maintaining accurate records of their achievements. – Drive initiatives to enhance the nursery’s educational offerings and overall quality of care. – Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional development. – Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment for children to explore. *Requirements* – Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent. – Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential. – Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. – Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. – A genuine passion for childcare and early years education. – Ability to drive initiatives that enhance children’s learning experiences. – Knowledge of child development theories and practices is advantageous. – A commitment to safeguarding children’s welfare at all times.
