Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organisedm detail-oriented, and a process-driven Kahn Walk Club Manager to lead our exclusive walking club twice a month, with potential expansion into weekly events. The Kahn Walk offers a unique combination of thought-provoking discussions on life,w isdom and entrepreneurship whilst exploring some of London’s most amazing and iconic hidden spots. Believing that the best way to discover London is by each foot, each walk covers a minimum of 20,000 steps, allowing our members to engage in intellectual conversations while experiencing the city on foot. As the manager, you’ll ensure smooth operations, curate enriching experiences, and build a community of like-minded individuals who are on the same wavelength.

Your role will also require a focus on health and safety, ensuring that all walks are conducted in a safe and responsible manner whilst keeping the well-being of participants top of mind.

Key Responsibilities:

• Walk Coordination & Logistics: Plan and organise walking events that cover a minimum of 20,000 steps through iconic and hidden gems in Central London. You’ll manage all details for two walks a month, with the potential to grow into weekly events. This includes selecting routes, timing and ensuring that everything runs seamlessly.
• Health and Safety: Ensure all walks are conducted in a safe and responsible manner by conudcting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This includes monitoring the health and well-being of participants throughout the walk and taking appropriate action in case of any emergencies. Maintain a high standard of safety for all members, ensuring clear communication of guidelines and expectations.
• System & Process Management: Develop and maintain systems for registration, event planning, communication, and feedback collection. Ensure everything is organised to perfection, creating a flawless experience for every walk.
• Community Building & Networking: Build and nurture a community of think tanks and like-minded individuals who are passionate about self-improvement and entrepreneurship. Foster a welcoming and collaborative environment for members to connect both during and after the walks.
• Monthly Letter: Be responsible for creating a monthly letter that shares insights, highlights from the walks, and upcoming events. The letter should reflect the spirit of the community and keep members engaged and informed.
• Data Capture & Engagement: Implement systems to capture data and feedback from the walks, ensuring that member preferences and feedback are recorded to improve future events. Use data to personalise communication and build deeper connections with the community.
• Marketing & Outreach: Help promote Kahn Walk to attract new members who align with our mission. Support the growth of the club through social media, word-of-mouth, and outreach efforts to bring in forward-thinking individuals.
• Event Planning & Special Projects: Occasionally plan special events, guest speakers, or exclusive tours that enhance the overall experience. Ensure that each event is meticulously organised to provide and unforgettable experience.
• Facilitate Intellectual Conversations: Lead engaging, thoughtful discussions on life, wisdom and entrepreneurship. Encourage stimulating exchanges that provide valuable insights and foster personal and professional growth for all members.
• Feedback & Continuous Improvement: Collect feedback after each walk and refine processes based on suggestions. Work towards constantly improving the club and its activities to ensure an exceptional experience for all members.
• Expansion of Events: As the club grows, take charge of expanding the events to weekly walks. This may involve taking out different group members each week, tailoring the experience for fresh perspectives and ensuring variety in the discussions.

• Must be available for two walks a month (flexible, depending on the walk schedule), to lead and walk and manage all related tasks
• Willingness to walk a minimum of 20,000 steps and engage in physical activity with the group.
• Experience or ability to create and manage a monthyl letter that resonates with the club community.
• Ability to capture and use data to drive engagement and continually improve member experiences
• Open to expanding into weekly events and managing the logistics and experience for a wider range of members.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety protocols, ensuring the well-being of all participants during each walk.

Pay: £15.00 per hour
