Ludlow Satellite Lead (Derwen at Ludlow)

As the Satellite Lead you will be responsible for the management, quality assurance and ongoing development of the satellite provision including management of staff and resources and responsibility for student progress

Key Role Specific Responsibilities:

• Operational management of satellite including premises, staff and resources
• Quality assurance of all aspects of provision including production of Self -Assessment Report, Quality Improvement Plan and compliance audits
• Accountability for individual student programme including timetabling, assessment, setting and reviewing appropriate targets, timely progress reporting and provision of IAG according to programme type
• Curriculum / commercial development to ensure that provision remains relevant and challenging including fostering effective partnerships e.g. Industry Champion / Work Experience providers / Competition activity
• Staff development including observation, appraisal and provision of support and training
• Teaching commitment including the embedding of functional skills
• Support marketing and promotional activity to maximise commercial potential of satellite
• Contribution to cross-college team meetings as required
• Member of cross-college observation team
• Personal Tutor / Mentor / Review Meeting chair for satellite cohort
• Budget holder
