Machine Shop Operative

Salary: £12.00 per hour plus shift allowance for the night shift

Working Hours:

two shift patterns available:

Days: 37.5 hours per week, Mon – Fri 06:00 – 14:00

Nights: 37.5 hours per week, Mon – Fri 22:00 – 6:00

We’re a leading player in advanced automotive manufacturing, and we’re looking for a talented Machine Shop Operative to join and play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of engineering projects. What We Do

  • Specialise in complex aluminium and iron sand casting for automotive, motorsport, and aerospace sectors
  • Develop advanced manufacturing solutions using state-of-the-art technologies
  • Focus on lightweight, high-integrity casting techniques that support green energy and electrification

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate machinery with precision and attention to detail
  • Process machined parts according to manufacturing instructions
  • Perform washing and pressure testing of parts to meet customer specifications
  • Contribute to our innovative and dynamic manufacturing environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Current, valid driving licence
  • Strong technical aptitude
  • Ability to follow detailed manufacturing instructions
  • Comfortable working in shift-based roles
  • Commitment to quality and precision
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced engineering setting
