Maintenance Engineer

Working hours are Monday to Friday 6.45am-4pm and one Saturday every 3 weeks on a rotational basis. A shift day will be available on this rotation.

Job Duties will include:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.

• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and address them proactively.

• Create and maintain maintenance schedules.

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations.

• Supervise and co-ordinate maintenance activities with external contractors as needed.

• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and ensure compliance with both standards set by the company and external bodies e.g. BRC.

Criteria Needed:

• Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in maintaining industrial equipment including Mechanical, Hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical schematics and blueprints.

• Ability to maintain and repair machinery and equipment.

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Customer service-oriented mindset

• Strong communication skills to interact with others effectively.

• Welding experience is a plus.

• Familiarity with logic controllers is advantageous.

• Any experience or certification in electrical fault finding and installations would be advantageous.
