Job Description

Mason’s Animal Feeds Ltd has an immediate opening for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to maintain production milling and materials transfer equipment.

We have been steadily growing over the past several years and are looking for hard working and dedicated employees to join the MAF team.

The successful candidate will join our maintenance team to provide preventative and reactive maintenance support to the production facilities. This opportunity involves mechanical repairs, electro/mechanical troubleshooting, and assistance with installation of new equipment; working toward improved equipment efficiency and maintaining a safe working environment.

Available Schedule:

• Monday – Friday – 7am until 6pm (negotiable)

Successful candidate will have:

• Proven track record of mechanical equipment maintenance
• Good understanding of Electro/Mechanical machinery
• Superior logical thought and troubleshooting skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work both inside and outside, and in all weather conditions
• Willingness to take and to follow instructions; both written and verbal
• The ability to work alone and as part of a team
• Legal right to work in the UK
• Ability to lift and to carry minimum of 30kg
• Forklift qualification; or ability to qualify for license
• Good use of written and spoken English
• Residence local to Mason’s Animal Feeds
• Valid driving license and personal transportation
• Ability to work under pressure
