Manufacturing Team Leader

Job Description

Masstemps are currently recruiting for a full time dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee operations in our bustling manufacturing environment.

Duties

• Supervise daily operations during your shift, ensuring all staff are performing their duties effectively.
• Train, mentor, and motivate team members to enhance performance and foster a positive working environment.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
• Collaborate with upper management to implement operational improvements and achieve business goals.
• Have previous experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally wood/plastic or metal.

Requirements

• Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Hours of work:

Monday – Friday 6am-2pm OR 3:30pm-Midnight.

2 shifts available – fixed not rotating

Rate of pay:

£13.25 for AM

£14.25 for PM
