Deadline date:
£28000 - £35000 / year

Job Description

Hey! We’re Kukoon Rugs and we’re pleased to meet you! We’re going to start by talking about our exciting new Marketing Specialist position, but if you’d like to know more about the company then just reach out and we’ll fill you in!

Let’s get right into it – We are seeking a commercially driven, marketing specialist to assist in creating full funnel campaigns that grow the Kukoon brand. We have big ambitions to become the name you think of when you think of rugs. We want you to make sure that we are reaching every potential rug buyer in the UK & Ireland, reminding them of Kukoon’s offering and guiding them to purchase.

So what will you be doing at Kukoon: As our marketing specialist, you’ll work with internal and external teams on creative concepts, overseeing the execution of campaigns from start to finish. You will use our marketing strategy to guide you in leading the creation of multi-channel campaigns. You will also need to be comfortable using analytics tools to measure the impact of your work.

Campaign development- Assist in the creation of the marketing strategy. Lead campaign activity that helps deliver the overall marketing goals.

  • Work with the marketing manager to develop, execute, and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns that engage the Kukoon audience and generate revenue.
  • Take a strategic approach to analysing the Kukoon target audience and putting forward the best channels for reaching them.
  • Develop creative asset briefs for your campaigns in collaboration with internal and external creative teams.
  • Collaborate with the graphic designer, content creators and external creatives to deliver campaigns on time and to a high standard.
  • Manage media partnerships/buys for both digital and traditional channels, ensuring brand consistency.
  • Work closely with the digital marketing specialist and social team to ensure all campaigns go live on time.

Analytical prowess- Your work will range from idea generation to campaign execution and reporting.

  • Demonstrable marketing campaign management experience. Ensure efficient spend across channels. Optimise ROI on spend and accurately manage invoicing.
  • Proven track record of producing marketing campaigns that achieve results across multiple channels. Knowledge of AB testing and optimising creative assets to increase conversion.
  • Knowledge of segmenting audiences, mapping the consumer journey and understanding how different media channels impact consumer psychology differently.

The other stuff- You will be the guardian of our visual brand identity, but we need some analysis too.

  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all advertising content aligns with the brand’s style and voice. Maintaining and challenging standards across all channels in keeping with our brand direction.
  • Developing a robust reporting process to reflect your performance against KPIs and goals using analytics tools.

What you bring to the table

  • A Degree in marketing or equivalent qualification.
  • You think big and move fast. Choices need to be made, better to move fast, than hesitate and be stuck in limbo. We value risk taking, as you can’t be a pioneer, without taking a few leaps.
  • The ability to communicate at all levels. You are able to relate and get the best out of people, no matter if they work in the warehouse or they are part of the senior team.
  • You challenge people with respect – not every idea is going to work. It is your job to ensure people’s voices are heard and valued, but you must guide people down the right path to the best advertising creative.

What do we offer in return?

We have a high-performance culture which is balanced evenly with work and play:

  • 4 day working week, 6 months per year! Have every Friday off between April and September without using any Annual Leave!
