Are you looking for a job with a difference? We are looking to recruit a caring individual to join our close-knit, fun, friendly team of care staff at Thurleston Residential Home. On the outskirts of Ipswich, this family-run care home is ideal for those who are looking to work in a care environment with a difference. Day-to-day tasks will include:
- Medication Administration
- Ensuring residents have an up-to-date medication profile.
- Assessment of how I like to take my medication – including appropriate risk assessments.
- Ongoing evaluation of medication and the effects of medication.
- Liaising with GP regarding changes required to current doses or instructions, covert, and form of medication.
- All relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Prioritisation and proactive management of medication.
- Medication management and Record keeping.
- Participating in in-service training for self and junior staff including NVQ and induction programmes.
The post will require the applicant to be flexible working.
Shift times are currently: 06:00-13:30 OR 14:30-22:00
