The Role Scope

Your primary role will be to support the merchandising department by undertaking andproviding detailed analysis to help deliver sales, margin, and stock targets. You will supportand assist with all things planning and trading as well as liaising and coordinating withcolleagues in other departments to help ensure the department runs smoothly andefficiently.


✨Role key responsibilities:

  • Assisting the merchandising department with seasonal planning by providing analysis of historical data on key department metrics
  • Supporting merchandising on trading by reviewing line performance and proposing actions
  • Taking ownership and accountability for product sub-category attribution and analysis for all divisions
  • Updating and monitoring line flows to optimise stock availability on core styles
  • Reconciliation of the order book to highlight any late deliveries
  • Ad-hoc data analysis and cross-functional support for the business as and when required.

✨Skill/competency

  • Excellent communication and numeracy skills
  • Commercial acumen
  • Very strong attention to detail
  • A flexible self-starter with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines
  • Pro-active, can-do attitude
Desirable:
  • Intermediate ability in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with the Google suite.
  • Interest in fashion brands and product
