Midday Supervisor First Aider

Markeaton Primary School has a vacancy for a Midday Supervisor First Aider to join their friendly team looking after the children during the lunch break – dealing with any first aid required during the lunchtime period. This will take place in the First Aid Room.

Hours are 2 hours per day between 11.45 am and 1.45 pm, Monday to Friday during term-time.

The rate of pay is £12.26 per hour (Point 3). Payment is also made for Inset days: training is sometimes given on Inset days and, if so, normal working hours apply.

The main requirements of the job are:

1. to relate well to children of primary school age;

2. to remain calm under pressure;

3. to accept a degree of responsibility.

You should hold a Paediatric First Aid or First Aid at Work certificate but, if not, full training will be given.
