Job Description

The role

Your primary job will be to support our Mortgage & Protection Brokers. You will be responsible for taking ownership of the backend sales process once advice has been given. Key daily tasks will include:

  • Liaising with client and lender to ensure a smooth transaction
  • Uploading information to lender and insurer portals
  • Submitting mortgage and insurance applications on our client’s behalf
  • Working with Mortgage Advisers to get pipeline cases accepted and offered
  • Liaising with lenders and insurers for updates
  • Working to achieve service level timescales to ensure an outstanding customer experience
  • Vetting documentation to meet compliance guidelines
  • Provide an outstanding service to our clients

Job Description

Salary: £24,000 – £28,000 Per Annum (Plus Bonus and WFH 1 day per week )

Our client an award winning financial services business in Nantwich is looking to hire a Mortgage Administrator/Processor to join their growing and dynamic team in their Head Office, they have recently moved into lovely new offices. You will be part a vibrant team that are an essential part of the business dealing with processing mortgage applications through to completion.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Answering the telephone and taking messages
  • Carrying out initial ID&V checks along with anti money laundering checks using their online system.
  • Submitting applications to a panel of lenders either by email or using the lenders online portals.
  • Processing applications to the highest standard ensuring that the companies compliance policies are adhered to.
  • Collating responses from the lenders and putting forward for review with the appropriate manager.
  • Preparing offer letters to be sent to the client which details the facility agreed.
  • Instructing valuations either with a lender or with a valuer.
  • Liaising with solicitors for updates on cases and where necessary involving the client and lender.
  • Updating the ledger and cashflow using Microsoft Excel
  • Assisting with general office duties.

The suitable candidate must be confident on the phone with good rapport building and interpersonal skills, you will need to be efficient, organised and have a great attention to detail. You must be able to manage your own workload, experience in financial services would be an advantage but it is not necessary.

Working hours are 8:45am to 5:15pm Monday to Thursday, 7:45am – 4:15pm on a Friday with an hour for lunch, there will be full training provided and the support of an experienced team around you, once you have completed your training you will be allowed to work from home once a week.
