Overview
The Mount Pleasant is located in an affluent part of Kingswinford. It is a high quality two room operation with adjoining bar, a well equipped kitchen & carvery unit that allows the Partner to offer their own food menu and a function room available to hire. Externally there is beer garden, which has been invested in in the last 3 years and a large car park. Great reputation for sports, especially darts currently.
There are plenty residential areas surrounding the pub to tap into that trade. This is highly attractive as a business, with a strong wet trade, ability to have your own food to make a mark. The pub is great condition and is surrounded by a good customer base. The site is currently trading around £5,000 per week of which 95% are from wet sales but there is real potential to grow sales to £7,000 – £8,000 per week with the right operator.
We are looking for an operator(s) who are sports focused and can connect with the community to attract local teams to use the pub. The Carvery unit in the site is a bonus so some food knowledge and experience would be beneficial. Ideally, someone rom near the village to engage well with local community groups.
