Network CCTV Engineer – WA7 1NX (£35K – £40K)

Our client Topological Limited is looking for an enthusiastic individual with network and/or cctv installation experience to join their team, based in Runcorn. The position will include installing and maintaining Aruba switch/wireless networks, Hikvision CCTV and Paxton doors for local schools.

• Roles/activities are varied, with flexibility for some out of hours work.
• You will have client contact, so people skills and the ability to obtain an enhanced DBS are essential.
• Driving is a necessity with a clean driving licence (van to be provided after initial probation period)
• Holidays = 23 days per calendar year + Bank Holidays.
• Sick pay = 3 days paid in any 12 month period + SSP

Duties and responsibilities will include

• CCTV Installation and maintenance
• Technical Support (remote and onsite) and update support logs
• Installation of network switches and wireless technologies
• Create and update documentation

You will need

• Experience of working on multiple sites
• Networking fundamentals – VLANs/wireless
• The ability to work with minimal supervision
• Time management, written and verbal communication skills
• Problem solving abilities
• Health & Safety experience

Basic Knowledge/ Understanding

• IT experience (Microsoft Office)
• Capable with hand and power tools e.g. ladders, drills, etc
• Cabling (CAT5e, CAT6 and fibre optic)
• Computers/technology

During the probation period the use of your own vehicle is required with expenses covered.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
