Mailbox Bristol are currently looking for a dynamic individual, with an entrepreneurial spirit who is motivated by sales targets and is able to find, nurture and win new business. If the terms hunting and farming don’t resonate, this probably isn’t the right role for you.

Your role will be to find, build relationships and support local businesses in the Bristol area with their order fulfillment needs. This can range from handling printing, labeling and delivering documents on a regular basis to complex courier services for one-off packages worldwide.

You will have the skills and emotional intelligence to build rapport and relationships, whilst driving sales conversations to meet quarterly sales targets. The successful applicant will work alongside a small, driven team whose focus is to provide an incredible experience to every customer they work with. Their motto for everything is “people possible” and they go above and beyond trying to resolve operational challenges faced by local small businesses.

You will have a direct line on a daily basis to the CEOs of the business and you will have all the support you need to become a success in the role.

Anyone who joins the team will have the drive and confidence to keep going when rejection and setbacks occur.

Ultimately you will be responsible for signing up new clients for Mailbox Bristol. You will thrive on this accountability and be driven to succeed as well as build relationships with those who you speak with.

Please take some time to understand what we do at

We are obsessive about supporting and helping those who work with us to get the best possible experience. Their experience with us and achieving their goals is what drives us forward and it will be what drives you.

It’ll be down to you to follow up on all new leads, to understand them and then ensure you’re engaging with these small businesses and providing them with a solution that can allow them to achieve their goals!

The role will be predominantly based in our onsite facility in Bristol but we are open to following a “work from home” policy 1-2 days a week. You will also be expected to meet businesses face to face and attend networking events in the local Bristol area.

Regardless of where you are based, you will need to show us that you are hungry to work and help us hit the wonderful business goals we have. Our business has exciting growth plans and with your help, we intend to grow to even higher levels.

So if you are keen to make a huge dent in the growth of a small business who puts people first and are passionate about supporting small local businesses, then this could be the right role for you!

What you will give our customers

You will spend your time engaging with targeted leads from our database. You will reach out to them across a range of media including linkedin, emails, telephone and face to face and get to know them with the sole aim to understand their order-fulfillment challenges. Over a period of 1-3 months you will be expected to help them overcome these complex operational challenges, take a huge weight off their shoulders, and in turn win their business and hit your quarterly sales targets.

Your customers will appreciate the impact not working with Mailbox could potentially have on their business- from their reputation with existing customers to their bottom line.

What you will get in return

With hard work, perseverance and desire come great rewards. Not just from the earning potential but also the great benefit of working with a company that puts people first. The Mailbox mantra is #peoplepossible.

In addition to mentoring and support, you will get the freedom to grow and make the job your own with the help and support of the company leaders.

It is the perfect opportunity for someone who has big aspirations to be a leader rather than a manager and a big work ethic.

You will also need a high level of IT literacy as well as outstanding communication and writing skills.

Your Experience

Successful candidates will either have a proven track record in a target driven environment or be hungry to work within one! We can teach skills, but we cannot teach hunger or behaviour and so if doing the bare minimum is your modus operandi, best leave this application to someone else.

You will have worked within a B2B sales environment for a minimum of 1 year and you will be able to demonstrate outstanding negotiation skills and verbal reasoning. You will also possess a desire to speak with people, learn and get better and you will have a curiosity and passion about people and what makes companies tick.

The Training you will receive

You will receive an extensive training and coaching package for the first 2 weeks based upon our service offerings, sales techniques, objection handling and customer service levels. After this you will receive weekly ongoing coaching and support including mentoring and motivational support from our CEO

The Hours

If you love what you do, then you won’t place time limits on when you do it. We are passionate about working with brilliant small businesses and so you will not be guided by hours of work but how you achieve the results that the business knows you could.

The Money

A good basic salary of between £28-32k is offered for this role (depending on level of sales experience) alongside an opportunity to earn fantastic commission for every new customer you help to sign up for our services.
