New Claims Handler

We are offering an exciting opportunity for someone looking to work in the legal sector.

MJV Solicitors is a firm of solicitors providing a wide range of legal services, but specialising in civil litigation. Open since 2016, we are currently recruiting new claims handlers to join our growing Housing Disrepair Team.

Please note that this is an in person role and the successful candidate will work full-time in our new office in Blackpool.

Duties:

· Making outbound calls

· Taking inbound calls

· Answering questions and addressing concerns

· Liaising with potential clients, discussing their complaints, eliciting information regarding the issues they have had and the dates and methods upon which they have raised their concerns

· Assessing the evidence and determining prospects of success

· Maintaining accurate and detailed records of client interactions

· Setting up new claims using the case management system

· Liaising with and updating third parties

Skills:

– Excellent communication skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
– Proficient in using computer systems and software
– Strong problem-solving skills

Working in a fast-paced environment, you should be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Proficiency in using computer systems and software is necessary for recording client information and accessing relevant data.
