Third in Charge & Toddler Room Manager – Level 3

up to £32,500, 40 hours per week over 4 1/2 day per week.

The role requires:

· Supporting the management team to lead the nursery team to grow and perform at a high standard, whilst ensuring that all legislation and EYFS frameworks are adhered to

· Working closely with management to promote positive, collaborative team working

· Nursery administration to support the management team

· Engaging your team to create inspirational, creative and effective learning environments in line with the needs of the children and the nursery

· Team working, we are a lovely family feel nursery and we strive for happiness for our people

· Ensuring the safety and welfare of children through a confident knowledge of safeguarding processes and procedures

· Ensuring that the nursery team are implementing the EYFS with a good understanding of child development

· Reporting issues of concern to a senior team member or relevant services

· Partnership working with parents and our external partners to ensure our children thrive

· Clear and accurate record keeping and report writing

· Promoting a high standard of quality within the nursery including practice, environment and resources in line with our nursery expectations

Essentials

· Minimum full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification

· Safeguarding and child protection

· Experience working as a Room Leader or similar

· Robust knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework

· Experience of working and communicating with parents and carers

Pay: £28,500.00-£31,000.00 per year
