The setting

kinderzimmer Sunbury-on-Thames, our newly established nursery, is an inviting haven for children aged from 6 month to 5 years, offering 105 nursery places in a spacious and thoughtfully designed environment. Situated conveniently adjacent to the local train station, it is an ideal choice for commuters seeking quality childcare. The nursery boasts a large, open floor plan with abundant natural light, creating a bright and stimulating atmosphere for young minds to flourish. With a close proximity to neighbouring kinderzimmer nurseries, our Sunbury-on-Thames location features a large and welcoming central entrance, setting the tone for a warm and inclusive environment. The facility includes a separate kitchen dining area dedicated to fostering children’s culinary curiosity and encouraging a love for healthy eating habits. Additionally, the nursery provides a beautiful outdoor space designed to inspire outdoor learning and play. What you will be doing

  • Support the nursery educators in implementing the EYFS curriculum, by organising and delivering enjoyable play and activities that encourage the children’s progress towards important developmental milestones.
  • Collaborate with a larger team to ensure all necessary day-to-day duties are fulfilled in accordance with the nursery’s requirements, such as maintaining cleanliness and preparing rooms.
  • Uphold and advance child welfare, protection, health and safety, and safeguarding protocols and policies at all times.
  • Oversee the children’s well-being throughout the day, ensuring their safety.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to establish and maintain a constructive, cheerful, and secure environment on a daily basis.

Housed in a beautifully historic building, our nursery is at the heart of Berkhamsted. The site boasts tall ceilings and light-flooded spaces, with large symmetrical rooms that create a warm and welcoming environment. With a capacity of 92 children across all age groups, the nursery is bespoke in design, and provides a safe and nurturing environment for early years. Our central dining room offers the perfect space for baking, experimenting with food and engaging in messy play, while our growing space in the garden encourages children to learn about the natural world. Our brand-new Muswell Hill Nursery supports 57 children in a clean, contemporary and inspiring environment with spacious rooms that welcome natural light. The setting is based in an intimate residential area that is close to local amenities and parks. There is a large leafy garden space and sand pit to promote learning through play.
