The Old Thatched Inn is as the name suggests is a beautiful thatched pub in the heart of the village of Stanton Under Bardon, Markfield. It’s a two room operation with all the country pub features you would expect with good sized lounge and restaurant one side and bar room with pool table the other. It is famed for its Sunday Carveries and attracts guests from far and wide on a weekend. During the week this is very much a locals pub and in summer has a regular bike club meeting once a week. The pub has a good sized beer garden and car park and benefits from being the only pub in the village. It’s average weekly takings are around £5,000 a week with 75/25 drink/food split, but a real opportunity to deliver more.
