Summary of Role

This role supports the Client Onboarding Advisory team and contributes to Morton Fraser MacRobert’s commitment to streamlining and enhancing the onboarding process. The Onboarding Administrator will assist with client ID checks, conflict searches, and other tasks as directed, ensuring clear and effective communication with internal teams.

You will work closely with fee earners and the onboarding team to ensure smooth client onboarding, providing accurate and timely support while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires good organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.

Fixed term contract- 6 months. This role would suit a DPLP student looking to gain experience in a law firm.

Key Tasks

  • Supporting KYC research and reporting.
  • Assisting with new client/matter set-up, maintenance, and closure.
  • Conducting basic conflict checks.
  • Helping monitor compliance with internal and regulatory procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proficient in Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with database management is desirable.
  • Basic understanding of KYC/AML regulations is an advantage.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
