Salary £28,080.00 plus overtime, bonus and benefits

Hours:

  • Basic 45 hours Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 5:00pm
  • Saturdays on a rota basis 8:00am to 12:00pm with paid overtime
  • Stocktake weekend once a year
  • Some Bank Holidays on a rota

Main purpose:

  • Supervision of the distribution and control of the yard and warehouse stock; ensure compliance with all health and safety procedures including overseeing yard team to ensure that they comply with branch procedures
  • Ensure good quality of service to customers, suppliers and colleagues
  • To lead and manage the yard staff through effective delegation
  • Suppliers vehicles to be unloaded quickly, safely and without any damage
  • Ensure all vehicles are loaded efficiently and correct
  • Ensure stock management and rotation
  • Maintain plant and machinery
  • Ensure Health and Safety is adhered to at all times
  • Ensure security within the yard is of a high standard

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £28,080.00 per year
