About the Company

The Escapade Group operate the ultimate indoor and outdoor adventure parks. There are currently four different brands and attractions across six sites:

  • Kidspace – Croydon
  • Kidspace – Romford
  • Hobbledown – Epsom
  • Hobbledown Heath – Hounslow
  • Gripped London – Hounslow
  • Watermouth Castle – Ilframcombe

As a popular visitor attraction group, we have ambitious plans and are looking to expand significantly over the next five years.

We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Operations / Adrenaline Park and At-Height Activity Trainer to join our team. This role is both a training and operational. When you are not training you will be required to work at the Escapade Group attractions being hands on running the attractions for our guests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for training our team and participants in high-adrenaline activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and conducting PPE inspections. When This role requires meticulous record-keeping and offers career progression opportunities for the right individual.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and Conduct training sessions for team on at-height activities and adrenaline park attractions.
  • Ensure all safety procedures and industry standards are followed at all times.
  • Perform regular inspections and maintenance of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), ensuring all equipment meets regulatory and safety standards.
  • Supervise participants and team, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of training sessions, inspections, incidents, and compliance documentation.
  • Assist in developing and updating training materials and standard operating procedures.
  • Respond to and manage emergency situations efficiently.
  • Collaborate with management to enhance safety and operational procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff to improve their competency in working at height.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in working at height and adrenaline park activities.
  • Certification in Working at Height, PPE Inspection, and First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly in record-keeping and compliance documentation.
  • Excellent communication and instructional skills.
  • Ability to assess risks and implement necessary precautions.
  • Physically fit and comfortable working in high-adrenaline environments.
  • Strong organisational and leadership abilities.


Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in delivering training programs.
  • Previous experience in adventure parks, climbing facilities, or similar environments.
  • Additional safety certifications (e.g. ERCA, IRATA, LOLER, or similar).
