Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Children’s Nurse with excellent clinical skills to lead a core team of carers and provide face-to-face support to children and their families. The successful candidate will create personalised care plans for each child and work closely with the team to ensure seamless delivery of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver individualised care plans for children and young people
• Lead a team of carers, providing training and support to enhance their clinical skills
• Liaise effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care
• Manage a caseload of complex care packages, including peg feeds, ventilators, and tracheostomy management

Requirements

• RN Child qualification with a minimum of 2 years experience
• Active NMC PIN
• Experience of community working or ICU
• Up-to-date experience of tracheostomy care and ventilators within the last 2 years
• Advanced communication skills, both verbal and written
• Fully qualified Band 5 nurse with evidence of effective leadership and management of HCAs
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to cover the region and occasional visits to neighbouring regions as the business continues to grow

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £48,000.00 per year
