Porsche Centre Newport is looking for a Paint Technician to join our business and contribute to the success of our team. We can provide excellent training to develop your skillset and ensure that you meet the high standards required by manufacturers and the Group.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake all vehicle painting tasks as distributed by the Bodyshop Manager including:

  • Ability to carry out detailing and polishing
  • Spraying of vehicles
  • Filler work
  • Masking
  • Priming
  • Topcoat
  • Lacquering, polishing and finishing

Essential Qualifications:

You will need to have served either a recognised apprenticeship and gained a technical qualification or trained to City and Guilds standard NVQ, ATA or equivalent.

Full UK Driving Licence

Dick Lovett has a dedicated Bodyshop facility on the Bristol campus to provide bodywork and paint repairs to all of the brands we represent including Porsche, Aston Martin, BMW, and MINI. We are easily accessible from the M5 motorway, by following the A4018 to Laurel Court in Cribbs Causeway.

At Dick Lovett, we can handle all types of car repair, from bodywork damage to removing chips and dents in paintwork. The Bodyshop team in Bristol offer services covering the South West of England and South Wales. Our team is supportive and encouraging at the Bodyshop with a wide variety of options to develop in your career.
