Our Painter / Decorators will receive:

  • Up to £14.42 per hour (depending on experience)
  • Fixed 40 hours per week
  • 20 days holiday a year + BH’s

Experience and Knowledge

  • One main trade qualification (or time served trades experience) e.g. NVQ 2, NVQ 3, City & Guilds.
  • Have current Health & Safety Training certificates (including, but not limited to, Asbestos Awareness, Working at Height, Manual Handling, Risk Assessments)
  • Understand and be able to use effectively (after training) equipment and processes which may be reasonably required by the Company
  • Experience and a passion for delivering high quality services to a diverse range of customers

What you will do

  • Carry Out Routine Inspections/maintenance of Property assets when required to the appropriate standard and ensure that timetables in place are met. The Shift Engineer will be expected to maintain heating, ventilation, air conditioning equipment and ensure that they are in an optimal operating condition by performing routine maintenance and repairs as directed upon request.
  • Supporting the recording of accurate utility costs by recording meter readings and monitor daily usage.
  • Foster good working relationships with all contractors to ensure all on site work is completed in a professional and timely manner.

Who you are

  • Someone you has previous experience working as an Engineer preferably someone who has worked within the residential or Hospitality sector previously.
  • The shift Engineer is expected to ensure appearance and presentation of them selves is maintained to a high level.
  • A good Communicator not only in a team environment but also when communicating to guests.
  • Organised and efficient.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Painter & Decorator to join the Derbyshire Support and Facilities Services Ltd estates team to manage all aspects of the operational estates service provided to Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and external clients. You will need to demonstrate strong team working skills; have extensive experience of working in an Estates/FM environment (ideally in the Public Sector) and be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills.

This post will play a key role in meeting the estates key performance indicators.
