Job Description

Our client is looking for a Panel Technician, to join their branch in Glasgow.

Description: A panel beater is repairing damaged vehicles, specifically focusing on the bodywork to return it to its original state. They mainly work on damage caused by accidents or wear and tear, ensuring the vehicle is correctly aligned and structurally sound.

What we are offering:

· Full time/permanent

· Monday – Friday

· 7am – 3.30pm – Flexible

· Basic Salary: Up to £45,000

Qualifications/Requirements

· Current or very recent Bodyshop experience as a Vehicle Panel/MET of at least 2 years

· Full UK driver’s License

· Be able to work in a team and independently if needed

· You will need your own tools

· Achieve deadline and targets that are set out

· City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in Automotive Bodyshop Repair

· ATA Qualification would be an advantage

· Previous Bodyshop Paint Sprayer experience is essential

  • Repair and reshape vehicle panels to remove dents and damage
  • Replace or repair damaged structural parts
  • Align vehicle panels to meet manufacturer specifications
  • Perform vehicle body repairs in line with company and manufacturer standards
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and PPE usage
  • Maintain productivity in line with Thatcham repair times
  • Understand and follow BSI 10125 Kitemark requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience as a panel beater in an automotive setting
  • Ability to work under pressure and independently as needed
  • Strong organizational skills and time management
  • Enthusiasm for self-improvement and learning new skills

About the role

We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced Panel Beater/ Build up Technician to join a successful and established bodyshop in the Garngoch.

The successful candidate will be working in a well-equipped workshop, working on a variety of cars and must be able to do most aspects of panel beating from filler work and pulling dents to stripping / fitting.


About you
