Parlour Supervisor – Full or Part Time
Job Description
An exciting opportunity for a Supervisor has arisen within our Inverness Parlour. We are looking for a creative individual who is looking to develop their career in a fun, diverse and growing family run business. This is a full time position.
Job Responsibilities:
· Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff members, motivating the team to think creatively and drive upselling. Oversee the team on shift to ensure high standards are maintained
· Provide guidance and support to team members, helping them with their tasks and ensuring they meet performance standards.
· Oversee parlour operations, ensuring efficient service, adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times, including hot holding temperature checks.
· Lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership skills and maintaining a positive work environment.
· Handle customer enquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner.
· Cash handling – balancing the till and safe at the end of the day, completing change orders and banking
· Keyholder responsibilities: following close-down procedures including alarm setting, securing the shop etc
· Ordering stock from external and internal suppliers, ensuring accurate stock and order sheets are completed
· Engaging with existing customer pool and thinking innovatively to bring in new customers
· Collaborate with other supervisors and managers to improve operational efficiency
· Creating rotas when required based around business needs
· Ensuring the shop is always looking its best e.g. making sure the cabinet is clean and topped up
· Assist with creative ideas for promoting products and specials on social media as well as coming up with new ideas
· Reporting any issues or concerns to Parlour Manager ensuring appropriate communication channels are maintained
· Working alongside the Parlour Manager, Factory Team and Management Team to drive sales, reduce waste and increase turnover
· Covering of our smaller sites in the absence of the Parlour Manager
· Supporting with events and other locations when required
Skills:
· Previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the hospitality or retail industry; two years experience minimum in a customer facing role preferably in hospitality and two years minimum experience in a supervisor role
· Strong leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
· Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
· Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
· Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
· Availability to include evenings and weekends
· Driver preferred but not essential as travel will from time to time be required between our sites

Pay: £12.50-£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 37.5 per week
