Patient Services Advisor
Job Description
To provide a high quality, professional reception and administrative service to patients, colleagues, doctors and health service professionals. To act as the first point of contact for patients contacting the practice and to portray a highly efficient and professional business at all times. Greeting patients with a friendly and courteous manner at all times. Answer the telephone, incorporating switchboard, in a polite and courteous manner. Make appointments, change appointments and arrive patients for all clinicians. Inform patients of test results in accordance with the practice protocol. Communicate clearly with patients/carers and relatives about their presenting condition and subsequent appointment with a clinician. To ensure all new patient registrations are completed on receipt from the patient and entered on to the system. To undertake any additional duties given by the Practice Manager from time to time or as and when the business dictates. Good verbal and written communication skills, including excellent telephone manner
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
