Payroll & Finance assistant

Moundsley Hall Care Village are looking for an experienced payroll and finance assistant, to join our family run care village. Working hours and salary

Part-time, working 4 days a week, between Monday – Friday to suit the business.

Pay: £30K – FTE, £24K actual

What your typical day involves

– Processing the Payroll in accordance with procedures, through completion of own work and through the co-ordination of the work of others

– Monthly Reporting – Agency and Food

– Maintaining the Supplier Ledger within the Sage 50 accounting software.

– Prepare weekly and monthly Supplier payments for sign off by Finance Manager, prior to loading onto the bank for Director approval.

– Reconcile petty cash on a monthly basis for sign off by Finance Manager

Who we’re looking for

– Will have thorough knowledge by experience or qualification of routine accounting procedures

– Experience with Sage 50 software

– Experience with Excel, word and outlook

– Ability to prioritise task and work to deadlines

– Excellent communication skills

– Attention to detail

– Complete training where applicable

About our home

We are a care village based in Birmingham/Worcestershire. We provide care for the elderly, including Dementia care, Nursing and respite care. Set in six acres of tranquil, landscaped grounds, our unique location is accessed by a tree-lined avenue, providing a country setting whilst enjoying the amenities of an urban location. We aspire to create an environment conducive to well being with good communication between residents, resident’s families and our team.

Established in 1995, we are a quality care provider registered with CQC care homes in Birmingham. We work in partnership with surrounding local authorities and CCG’s to provide good quality care for the elderly.
