Personal Care Assistant Wanted – Chester CH4

I am looking for the services of a kind and caring individual to assist an active female with a physical impairment. The role requires assistance with a wide variety of household/social activities, personal care and attending hospital appointments.

£12 per hour

Job is very rewarding as the individual is involved in many activities including charity work. She has also run a charity for over 35 years as its founder member.

Driver over 25 years old preferably (for insurance purposes)
to drive owners wheelchair accessible vehicle –
a Citroen Berlingo manual diesel. The applicant must have a full clean driving licence and be a confident driver willing to drive to a wide variety of locations including motorway driving.

14 hours per week – days required see below.

Fridays approx. 5 hours or more, suit person who is totally flexible during a Friday – (notice of hours always provided in advance of hours on a Friday) – A Friday will always be required – may involve working until approx. 7 pm on occasions.

Hours on a Tuesday afternoon 2.30 pm – 6.30 pm.

Thursday afternoon 2.30 pm – 6.30 pm.

Ad-hoc overnight stays maybe required due to periods of ill health.

Hours may also include occasional weekends (as much advance notice as possible will be provided, not required very often).

Extra hours also available to cover other PA holidays

so some flexibility required – advance notice will be given

Occasional evening work may also be required – (as much advance notice as possible will be provided, not required very often).

Full training will be provided

A DBS will be paid for by the employer
