Job Title: Pharmaceutical Wholesale Operations Manager
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Pharmaceutical Wholesale Operations Manager to take full ownership of our WDA (Wholesale Dealer Authorisation) operations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in pharmaceutical wholesaling who is ready to shape and lead the entire operation, ensuring compliance, building a profitable business model, and driving growth.

Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Oversight: Take full control of wholesale operations, including strategy development, compliance management, and day-to-day decision-making.
- Business Development: Identify market opportunities, establish supplier relationships, and develop profitable revenue streams.
- Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to MHRA and GDP requirements, preparing the business for inspections and audits.
- Supply Chain Management: Build and optimize the supply chain, ensuring cost-effective procurement and timely distribution of pharmaceutical products.
- Strategic Guidance: Develop and implement a clear strategy to maximize the potential of the WDA license, working closely with senior leadership.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and competition to identify new opportunities and adapt business strategies accordingly.
- Reporting & Accountability: Provide regular updates to senior management on performance, market conditions, and areas for growth.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in pharmaceutical wholesale operations or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the MHRA, GDP standards, and WDA compliance.
- A track record of building and managing successful pharmaceutical distribution businesses.
- Exceptional leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to take ownership of operations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers.
- Analytical and strategic thinking to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary
Pay: From £50,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
