Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Pharmacist to join our team for maternity cover on a 1 year fixed term contract effective 01/04/25 The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy, providing exceptional healthcare services to our valued customers. The role is full-time 40hrs onsite
Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to legal requirements
- Oversee inventory management and order pharmaceutical supplies
- Provide excellent customer service and address inquiries
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy degree
- Valid pharmacy license in UK
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and provide leadership when needed
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Demonstrates the ability to audit data for entry accuracy and recognise inconsistencies with output
- Proven ability to work independently
- Demonstrates effective attention to detail and the development of alternative plans to ensure satisfactory service in accordance with contract terms
- Proven proficiency at checking prescriptions
- Demonstrates intermediate level proficiency in the use of computer-based systems, including but not limited to word processing, spreadsheet, email, and/or database applications.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to maintain relationships with internal colleagues and external clients
