We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza and Pasta Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in preparing authentic pizzas and pasta dishes, with a deep understanding of Italian culinary traditions. This role requires creativity, precision, and a commitment to delivering consistently high-quality dishes that delight our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation:
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas, including traditional and creative recipes, using fresh, high-quality ingredients.
- Make and cook fresh pasta dishes, including sauces, fillings, and accompaniments, to exacting standards.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes across all dishes.
- Menu Development:
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to create and update the pizza and pasta sections of the menu.
- Experiment with new recipes and seasonal ingredients to keep the menu exciting and fresh.
- Kitchen Operations:
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Manage the preparation and storage of pizza dough, pasta, and other key ingredients.
- Monitor stock levels for ingredients and place orders as needed.
- Customer Satisfaction:
- Work with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure all customer dietary needs and special requests are met.
- Maintain a focus on delivering dishes that exceed guest expectations.
- Team Collaboration:
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in pizza and pasta preparation techniques.
- Support the kitchen team during peak hours to ensure efficient service.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pizza and Pasta Chef or similar role in a high-paced restaurant environment.
- Expertise in preparing pizza dough, toppings, and cooking techniques (e.g., stone or wood-fired ovens).
- Strong knowledge of pasta-making, including fresh pasta, sauces, and Italian culinary traditions.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- A team-oriented mindset with excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Culinary certification or training is a plus but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
