We are looking to recruit a Plasterer to join our team in London covering Northeast London, Billericay and Wickford.


About the Role

Working to deliver the best quality service, carrying out responsive and planned repairs to occupied properties, you’ll undertake plastering and other trade repairs and maintenance work. You’ll receive and complete assigned tasks using a handheld device (full training), working efficiently and safely in line with best practise to achieve excellent customer experience.


About You

Candidates will either hold City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in plastering as a minimum, with excellent working H & S knowledge and the ability to use hand tools and operate small handheld plant such as drills and mixers. Customer focused with experience of working in occupied properties, you’ll have a passion for completing high-quality repairs on time, first time. You must hold a CSCS Blue Skilled Worker card.

You must hold a valid full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months as a company vehicle will be provided (work use only).

The Plasterer’s Role:

We have an opportunity for a Plasterer to carry out day to day plastering and other maintenance related duties, in and around the Bristol area. They would need a specialism in Plastering but it is key that they are able to complete additional tasks to ensure that repairs/orders can be completed in a single visit.

  • One main trade qualification (or time served trades experience) e.g. NVQ 2, NVQ 3, City & Guilds
  • Current Health & Safety Training certificates (including, but not limited to, Asbestos Awareness, Working at Height, Manual Handling & Risk Assessments)
  • An understanding and be able to use effectively (after training) equipment and processes which may be reasonably required by the Company
  • Recent experience working in social housing
  • Experience and a passion for delivering high quality services to a diverse range of customers

About the Role:
We are looking for experienced plasterer to join team in Dover. Working with Dover District Council on a variety of residential works, working in occupied, void properties and communal areas, our team produce work to the highest standards and deliver outstanding customer service.
All aspects of repairs, it could be minor repairs or a whole house refurbishments, this could include patching a leak repairs or whole plaster finishes due to the age of the properties.
This will also include external works, and cement renders.
Ensure that the customer experience is central to all activities by adopting a professional manner when communicating with service users, clients, and both internal/external stakeholders This includes but is not limited to appearance, company ID,condition of vehicles and maintaining a high standard of Health & Safety requirements. It may be necessary where requested to obtain customer feedback on completion of works.
Process all activities in association with tasks/works electronically utilising a hand held device (PDA). This includes, but not limited to, worksheets, timesheets, photographic evidence of works before / during / after, van stock replenishment, booking of annual leave, vehicle inspections, safeguarding issues, risk assessments and method statements.
Participate in call out cover if and when required to ensure contract compliance & service user satisfaction for emergency repairs.
Role Criteria:
  • UK full driving licence
  • Previous experience in plastering – Ability to board and skim, Float and set and external rendering.
