MP Moran Builders Merchant is thrilled to announce the opening of our new Tottenham store in March 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for a Plumbing Department Manager to ensure the efficient functioning of the department and provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

• Working 48.5 hours per week, shifts between 6am-5pm Monday to Friday, and alternate weekends.
• Knowledge of plumbing materials and trends
• Experience handling trade quotes is essential
• Good interpersonal skills, confident and able to engage with customers.
• The ability to prioritise responsibilities under pressure and be self-motivated.
• Excellent sales and marketing skills
• Ability to manage people and delegate effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Running the day-to-day operations on a busy plumbing counter.
• Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, produce trade quotes and provide expert advice.
• Drive the team to enhance sales.
• Delegate effectively and manage the rest of the team.
• Ensure all deliveries are processed quickly and efficiently.
• Assist in placing orders and ensuring stock availability.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure overall efficiency and increased customer satisfaction.
• Maintain an organised and visually appealing plumbing department.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
