We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, inspirational Pre-school and After School Club Manager to join the staff team working at our ‘Outstanding’ setting.

Purpose of Post:

1. To manage the day to day running of the pre-school and after school club to include coordinating the provision of a caring, safe, secure, inclusive and stimulating environment, meeting Ofsted requirements.

2. Managing a staff team, working with Management Committee to ensure policies and procedures are implemented at all times.

3. Fulfilling duties as the Safeguarding Designated Officer for the setting to promote the safeguarding and welfare of the children, staff and parents/carers.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership: Inspire and lead your team towards excellence.

Quality Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements in educational programs and operational procedures.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and maintain a secure environment for children.

Financial Management: Manage the budget and resources effectively. Complete headcount and maintain occupancy levels.

Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships with parents, staff, and the local community.

Professional Development: Encourage continuous team development to provide the best care and education.

Hours of work:
Full time (term time only) Fixed contract. Days and hours to be discussed

Pay
Starting salary of £36,947 (FTE). Negotiable depending on experience.

A minimum NVQ level 3 qualification in childcare is required
