Job Summary
Are you looking for a rewarding position where you can help and encourage disabled children to learn, grow and experience new things ? Are you experienced with working with SEN children previously maybe?

This role is to work as a Preschool Room Leader working with Preschool aged children (or Level 3 qualified), whilst also transforming the lives of disabled/non disabled children, young people and their families through the power of play.

They are not a specialist SEND Pre-school setting, however they are able to provide support for children of all abilities, including disabled/non disabled children and children with more complex needs.

Duties .

• Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that promote children’s development across all areas.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the nursery at all times.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child’s progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Maintain accurate records of children’s activities, attendance, and developmental milestones.
• Drive initiatives to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all children and families.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare and education.

Skills

• Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential.
• A qualification in Early Childhood Education or related field is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership abilities to manage a team effectively.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to drive initiatives that enhance children’s learning experiences.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• A passion for childcare with a commitment to fostering children’s growth and development.

Hours are Monday to Friday, TERM TIME ONLY, 39 weeks of the year, working 830am until 4pm with 1 hour for administration duties. Preschool experience is preferred, although other experience will be considered.

Actual Salary for Term Time working is between £20,868 pa and £23,476 pa, depending upon knowledge, qualifications and experience.
