About Mother Nature Science

· For over 30 years Mother Nature Science has offered the world’s highest quality curriculum-linked science programs and activities for children aged 5-12.

· We do this through our ‘after school clubs’ and ‘in-school workshops’ that take place at local primary schools, camps that take part in schools and community centres and birthday parties that take place at private venues chosen by parents.

· MNScience is looking for professional and inspirational scientists to join their team!

Location: South West London (Office based in New Malden KT3 3ST)

Availability and Product Description:

· Birthday Party / Special Event: Time: Weekends only (11am or 3pm party slots). Earn up to £70.00 per hour. Flexibility to pick and choose which party you wish to run. You need to collect and drop off kits/ equipment that you need for your Party from your closest office before and after the event.

· After School Clubs: After-school clubs run for 1 afternoon/week for up to 10 weeks (usually 15:30-16:30). Earn up to £35.00 per hour. Must be able to commit to run weekly 1hr sessions for up to 10 weeks. You need to collect and drop off kits/ equipment that you need for your after-school clubs from your closest office on a weekly basis.

· Science Workshops: Time: 09.00-15.30 on individual event days (key period is March). Earn up to £80.00 per day. Flexibility to choose which events you wish to run. You need to collect and drop off kits/ equipment that you need for your workshops from your closest office before and after the event.

· Science Camps: Time: 08.30-16.00 Mon- Fri (during holiday camps). Earn up to £500/week (Lead presenter), £430/week (Assistant). Camps are held in Feb HT, Easter, May HT, Summer, Oct HT & Dec. You need to collect and drop off kits/ equipment that you need for your Camp from your closest office before and after the event.

Requirements for Science Presenter:

· Compulsory Requirements:

o Professional and Punctual.

o Confident presentational manner

o Good rapport with children

· Ideal Requirements:

o Willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Checks

o Car owner and Driver.

o A science or teaching background.

o First Aid Training

Job Type: Zero hours contract

Pay: Up to £40.00 per hour
