Job Description

We are an innovative, young food brand who produce award winning dairy-free cheese products. Founded in 2017, Kinda Co. has led the way in creating dairy-free cheese that not only looks and tastes amazing but is good for you and the planet too.

We moved our production from London to Weston in 2021 and are now looking for someone with experience working in food, to come and join our small and friendly team.

Role Description:

This role involves working with our Management team to ensure our high standards are upheld. It will encompass carrying out and overseeing production, packaging and dispatch of our products, in addition to keeping on top of the necessary paperwork.

As a small, but fast growing, business we are looking for someone with previous relevant experience who is also happy to muck in with whatever is needed. No two days are the same and it would be great to have someone who would like to stay and grow with the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • All aspects of production including ensuring all paperwork is completely correctly
  • Work with and manage the team to ensure the running of our production kitchen is professional, efficient and organised.
  • Ensure that Health and Safety regulations are adhered to and Food Safety standards are maintained by yourself and the team.
  • Be responsible for managing, monitoring and ordering ingredients
  • Track stock levels via our internal systems, computer literacy is essential and training on our systems will be given
  • Adhere to our HACCP Plan
  • A minimum of 3 years experience working in a professional kitchen or in food production/manufacturing in a senior position.

Key Qualifications: Minimum Food Hygiene Level 2, Level 3 Desirable.

Salary: Competitive depending on experience

Work Location: Weston-super-Mare, Southwest UK. We are 2 minutes from the M5 junction, not in central Weston.
