We are currently looking for a PRODUCTION LINE LEADER

SALARY : £13.01 per hour / £16.26 per hour for overtime (paid monthly on the 25th of each month)

Making sure your line is highly effective and efficiently running. Ensuring your team are motivated and focused on delivering exceptional bouquets and that quality is at the centre of every stage of the process.

Working to high standards and in the most cost-effective manner, you will act as a role model for your team and ensure they are quality and customer focused.

Your shift pattern:

  • Our Production team work a shift pattern of 4 days on, 3 days off, 3 days on and 4 days off – either Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday.
  • You will only be scheduled to work 7 days in every 14 days!

On a daily basis you will:

  • Lead activities associated with safety, quality and legality of the product
  • Ensure an efficient packing operation is delivered daily
  • Deliver all KPIs and manage efficiencies to deliver on budgetary controls
  • Support in training for staff and agency workers to ensure high standards of compliance
  • Help to develop SOPs for the packing area – being a subject matter expert on all things packing flowers!
  • Take the support in the daily management of employees

Job Description

We currently have vacancies for Production Line Leaders to join our expanding team.

Shifts:

2-shift pattern, 5.30am-2pm Monday, 5.45am-2pm, Tuesday to Friday / 1.45pm-10pm, Monday to Friday, alternating on a weekly basis.

Pay rate range £ 12.42 – £13.85

OR

Permanent Night Shift, 9.45pm-6am, Monday to Friday (finishing 6am Sat morn)

Monday – Friday working only.

Pay rate range £ 14.28 – £ 15.93

The role holder will be responsible for:

Managing production lines to meet planned volume in accordance with QA and safety standards.

Ensuring all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company procedures.

Ensuring GMP (good manufacturing practices) and housekeeping (clean as you go) are strictly adhered to.
